My Story — Light to Study

The elder brother. My younger brother and I are very lucky to have the Solar Buddy light to study our lessons. We have no electricity at home, and after the earthquake our situation became even worse. Before, we had to rush to finish our homework before the sun set. When darkness came, we had no way to keep studying.

Now that we have the Solar Buddy light, everything has changed. I can study at night, and it helps me so much. I really love my Solar Buddy light.

The younger brother. I don’t want to give this Solar Buddy light to anyone because it helps me with my school lessons every night. My brother and I study together using this light, and during the day we put it under the sun to charge. I love this Buddy light — it truly feels like my buddy.

Both of us want to say: “We are very thankful to the donor for giving us this Buddy light.”
