GraceWorks Myanmar supports Rohingya Muslim and Rakhine Buddhist villages in Rakhine State – one of the highest-need regions in Myanmar. Since 2011, our team has helped 80,000+ people through a network of 24 trained community facilitators – around 40% of whom are women – to empower local villages in taking ownership of their resources. Village-led development plans help them advocate for, and realise, their needs and dreams. Villagers work together to deliver road, bridge, school and other projects, enabling mobility, wellbeing, education, trade and more. Sanitation awareness and hygiene training, and bio-sand filter production, provide clean water and improve health outcomes. World-first everyday peacebuilding training helps to transform relationships between villages.

Our community development education work saves, strengthens and empowers lives. We invite you to partner with us to support some of the most incredible and overlooked people in our world. Together, we can expand this work to support 10 new village-based facilitators and 100 village-led projects, aiming to directly support more than 10,000 people.

When combined with grant funding, on average, 85% of all funds go directly into the field and, importantly, 15% to the considerable behind-the-scenes work required to deliver effective, safe support.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to partner with us. Donations over $2 are tax deductible. We will send you a tax receipt for your donation.
